CENTRE FOR WEALTH CREATION (CWC)
The Centre for Wealth Creation is designed
as a start-up nursery for nurturing innovative ideas by
staff and students into maturity. It is a Centre that
acts as a clinic or an incubator for aspiring and emerging
small businesses in the community; and a research laboratory
for product development and inventions of novel ideas
of our students and the community.
The goals and objectives of the Centre
for Wealth Creation are:
- To nurture the talents and ideas of students to
mature businesses, so that they emerge as graduates
with professional skills and business owners.
- To increase and enhance the growth rate and survival
of small businesses, by providing counselling and
mentoring services in our small business development
division.
- To increase the growth rate of the nation through
employment generation and by developing small businesses,
and nurturing novel and innovative ideas that could
enhance people's welfare.
- To establish a wealth creative process that will
provide appropriate recommendations to policy issues
and changes within and outside the country.
- To be a vehicle for the liberation of mankind from
degradation state, and pull them towards an enhanced
welfare and good quality of living.
- CWC serves to become that bedrock for developing,
testing and actualizing creative and entrepreneurial
skills within an integrated conducive environment.
The Centre is ready to avail itself to
other research centres within and outside the country
for collaborative research capable of answering to the
demand of credible and sustainable development programme.
