Towards A Total
Graduate (TTG) programme kicks off
The Chancellor, Dr David Oyedepo has
inaugurated this year’s Towards A Total Graduate (TTG)
programme of the University for the graduating class of
2007. The event took place on Sunday, June 3, 2007 at the
University Cafeteria 2.
The TTG programme is a custom built
programme of Covenant University aimed at preparing final
year students of the University for the world of work. Its
goal is to package the students as Total Graduates set for
meeting the everyday challenges in the external context of
the University where they will be released as Eagles
following the Commencement Ceremony.
According to the timetable released by
the office of the Vice Chancellor, some of the unique
subjects to be thought at this year’s TTG programme include:
Faith Dynamics, Mind Dynamics, Warfare Principles,
Principles of Integrity, Biographical Studies, Vision
Analysis, Christian Work Ethics, Principles of Total Health,
Prayer That Works, Marriage Covenant, Plan Purpose and
Pursuit, The World of Work, Effective Communication, Life
Long Learning, Pan-Africanism, Conflict Management,
Principles of Opportunities, Power and Influence and
Principles of Sacrifice. Other are Biblical Business
Strategy, Dynamics of Economic Dignity, Principles of
Advance Faith, Power Dynamics, Principles of Empowerment,
Suceess Concepts, Principles of Protection, Success Systems,
Marriages And Family, Wisdom That Works, Principles of
Longevity, Principle of Sacrifice, Total Quality Management,
Leadership Development, General Etiquette, Public Speaking
and Home Management.

The facilitators and speakers are drawn
from within and outside the country, prominent among them
include, Dr David Oyedepo, Pastor Faith Oyedepo, Bishop
David Abioye, Bishop Thomas Aremu, Prof Aize Obayan, Vice
Chancellor of Covenant University and Registrar, Yemi
Nathaniel. Others are CEOs of banks, industries and members
of International Federation of Professional Speakers
Association, USA, among others.
About 1,573 students are taking part in
the programme, which will run till July 6, 2007.
It would be recalled that the pioneer
class during their TTG programme last year had Executive
mentoring sessions with Managing Director of Access Bank Plc,
Mr Aigboje Aig-Imokhuede, Group Managing Director/CEO of
NICON Group, Dr Jimoh Ibrahim, Managing Director, Amazon
Energy Ltd, Mr Yinka Fawehinmi and Managing Director of
Fossil Fuel Ltd, Engr. Tunde Akinpelu.
The University’s Commencement Ceremony
will be held between July 16 and 22, 2007. |
