The Centre
for Learning Resources organised a well coordinated refresher course for
the library assistants. This is the third in the series of in-house
training programmes of the Centre for Learning Resources. The sessions
major on Security issues, Locating and retrieval information resources,
Online Public Access Catalogue among others. The sessions had all the
library assistants in attendants. These training
sessions have prepared our library assistants and equipped them as the
best in any Nigerian University Library System. The sessions were administered by the Senior under the
supervision of the Ag. Director.
FUTO library staff with Ag Director,
C.L.R
The Federal University of Technology, Owerri visited the Centre for
Learning Resources for orientation and training on computerization and
the application information and communication technology in information
technology. CLR is already of a centre for reference for local and
international professionals, researchers, postgraduate students etc.
