Background Information

Aderonke Olufunke Adeyemi is a Librarian II in the Centre for Learning Resources (CLR) at Covenant University as the Chief Cataloguer. A Librarian registered with the Library Registration Council of Nigeria (LRCN), Adeyemi is also a member of Nigeria Library Association (NLA). Adeyemi’s research interest is in Academic and Media libraries and she has gained a wealth of experience in this area especially during her stay at Children Centre Library, UNN, and Kashim Ibrahim Library, ABU. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Library and Information Science from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. She is competent and skillful in the use of library software, Alice for Windows, classification, cataloguing, reference service, and acquisition procedure as well as media library operations.

She has also attended several trainings and conferences, and actively participates in the training and re-training of library assistants at CLR, Covenant University.
