This new world is a global village piloted by the information and communication technology (ICT). It becomes necessary to be relevant, and therefore obliges the faculty to tailor its academic programmes towards this new world order.
Our vision therefore is to be a top class department aiming at excellence in knowledge through learning and research to serve humanity by the special grace of God.

MISSION
Consequent upon our vision, the department would provide a conducive environment for the teaching, learning, research and development where there would be effective and complete interaction between student and faculty on the one hand, and with their counterpart nationally and internationally on the other hand in terms of intellectual competence to contribute to Nigeria, Africa and the world.
