RESEARCH: Research Interest:
Bacterial Pathogenesis, Genetic Basis of antibiotic resistance, Nanotechnology, Molecular Biology and bioinformatics.

On-Going Research Projects:
Determination of Antimicrobial resistance genes from clinical samples from Health Care Institutions at Ota, Ogun State, Nigeria.
 To determine the most prevalent clinical bacterial isolates in health care
Institutions.
 To determine antibiotic resistance patterns of Salmonella isolates and the genetic basis of their resistance.
 To determine multiple antimicrobial resistant strains of Salmonella using plasmid profiles and restriction fragment analysis and as such determine whether there are clonal relationships by sequencing.
 To document factors that contributes to development of antibiotic resistance at Ota, western Nigeria.
