Research Interest
My main area of research is Atmospheric and Environmental Sciences; with emphasis on solar radiation measurements, analysis and its radiative effects on atmospheric and sky conditions, determining interrelationship between solar radiation and meteorological parameters. Related interest in this is solar energy applications to solving community based environmental challenges.

Many papers have been published on radiative transfer in the atmosphere, modeling of radiation fluxes, radiation flux ratios and their radiative transfer interpretations. The most recent work are on short-wave radiation variation and its effect on vegetation and agricultural produce, and the bio-effects of short-wave solar radiation variation in the tropics.
