TECHweek ‘06, an annual event organized by students of the College of Science and Technology of Covenant University. The purpose of the TECHweek ‘06 is to initiate a passion towards sustained relevance in this fast-paced world of Science and Technology, and to motivate students of the college towards providing solutions to their environment.

The theme of this year’s event is
“Promoting Black Heritage through Technological Innovation.”

TECHweek ’06 is scheduled to hold between June 11 and 17, 2006. Activities lined up for the event include:

VI. Marathon- canaan land environment 6:30 am Saturday June 17,2006
VII. Dinner - new CU Cafeteria, 7-M Saturday June 17,2006
VIII. Think Tank- @ the university Chapel 4PM,Friday, June 16, 2006

A major awareness was organized on the 11th of May, 2006.
Souvenirs of different types are available, which includes: biro, mugs, hand fans, hair ruffles, and umbrellas.
Some companies have been contacted to be part of the event. That includes:

4. Nestle Nigeria
5. Hebron water

Projects being worked on by students include:
1. A web-based software for staff employment
2. A communion serving machine- to serve 200 cups of communion in 30 seconds
3. Architectural models
