General Admission Requirements –
Candidates seeking admission into the various academic programmes offered in the College are to fulfill the general requirements for admission into the University.
The minimum entry requirements are ordinary level SSCE/NECO/NABTEB credit level passes in five subjects including English Language, Mathematics and one relevant Science subject obtained at not more than two sittings. In addition to the general requirements, candidates are expected to note the specific requirements of each of the programmes offered in the College. The programmes indicated below are offered in the Departments which constitute the College.
a) Department of Natural Science –
• Industrial Mathematics
• Industrial Chemistry
• Industrial Physics
• Biochemistry
• Biology
• Microbiology
Credit passes in Chemistry and Biology are required for entry into Biochemistry, Biology and Microbiology.

b) Department of Architecture –
• Architecture
• Building Technology

c) Department of Estate Management
• Estate Management

d) Department of Computer and Information Sciences
• Computer Science
• Management Information Systems

e) Department of Electrical And Information Engineering
• Electrical and Electronic Engineering
• Information and Communication Technology

f) Department of Civil/Mechanical Engineering

g) Department of Chemical/Petroleum Engineering

Entry Requirements aside from the general requirements of English and Mathematics for,
I. The Natural Sciences include Physics. For admission into Biochemistry, Biology and Microbiology, credit passes in Chemistry and Biology are required.
II. Computer Sciences; credit passes in Chemistry and either Biology or Agricultural Science.
III. Management Information System; Economics and any science subject.
IV. Architecture; Fine-Art/Technical Drawing/Geography, Physics and any other science subject.
V. Estate Management; Economics and two other subjects one of which must be a science subject selected from Physics, Biology, Chemistry and Technical Drawing.
VI. Engineering Programmes; Chemistry, Physics and any one of Further Mathematics, Technical Drawing or Biology.
All candidates seeking admission into the College of Science and Technology are advised to check the specific entry requirements for each programme with the relevant Department.
