AREAS OF SPECIALIZATION: Interdisciplinary - Stylistics, Language use in the Media, Literacy and the media.
 
Has conducted studies in Language, Literacy and the media and has been able to highlight the dynamics of language use in the print media. In addition to this inter - disciplinary approach to language use, she has delved into the highly specialized area of stylistics using satirical style and rhetorical questions as corpus. These, She did at the M.A and Ph.D levels. She has equally examined women literacy as well as issues on the girl- child. All these are indications of relative versatility in acquiring and applying disciplinary knowledge.
