Public Administration
Objectives
i). To
provide high-level manpower with both academic and
professional skills to serve in any capacity in the
country as professional and expert managers.
ii). To
provide practical exercise which will enable the
students to integrate and apply the
knowledge to
the solution of problems facing Administrators.
iii).
Provide opportunities and experiences that will enable
students to become creative and versatile persons who
will be cable of functioning as productive members of
their professions and add value to the society; and
finally
iv). To
further strengthen the students’ ability to analyse and
interpret empirically
societal
problems and effectively deal with them.
Requirement for the Award of Degree
To be
eligible for the degree B.Sc. Public Administration
Candidate must satisfy the general regulations of the
University and must have taken and passed approved
compulsory and elective courses. It is possible for a
candidate to exceed the stated minimum number of units
by selecting course of his choice, provided that prior
approval of the Head of Department is obtained.
The Minimum
requirement is 163 units.
