OBJECTIVES

To
Provide students with a sound knowledge of concepts,
theories and issues in Political Science
-
To equip
students with the critical and analytical skills
needed particularly in administrative and managerial
responsibilities.

To
produce graduates who are properly equipped to
extend the frontiers of knowledge in the discipline
of Political Science.
Requirement for the Award of Degree
To be
eligible for the degree B.Sc. in Political Science,
Candidate must satisfy the general regulations of the
University and must have taken and passed approved
compulsory and elective courses. It is possible for a
candidate to exceed the stated minimum number of units
by selecting course of his choice, provided that prior
approval of the Head of Department is obtained.
The Minimum
requirement is 163 units
