UNIVERSITY LIBRARY (CENTRE
FOR LEARNING RESOURCES )
The University's Centre for Learning Resources,
otherwise known as the University Library, is an information-age
learning centre. It is the research nerve centre of the university.
CLR is perfecting its online e-library facilities and also has in
stock some of the most current books in all disciplines. Our focus
is that, no matter where they may be, students and teachers can
use technology to tap into the world's knowledge banks and explore
exciting information about topics such as science, current events,
history, languages, the arts and communication, and share the same
findings with people around the globe. The Library is an imposing
ultra modern structure on three floors reputed to be the largest
in Africa. The total floor area of complex is 11,300m/2. It is designed
as an imposing glass structure, which helps to speak of learning
as the major activity in the university.
