THE CHAPLAINCY
As a mission university, with the ultimate goal of creating the
total man,
the university places high premium on the spiritual
development of its students and staff.
The Chancellor is the spiritual leader and he directs the overall
spiritual development of the students. However, all the spiritual
development programmes and administration are handled by the Chaplain,
headed by the University Chaplain. The spiritual life of the entire
university community is enhanced through: pastoral care services,
Sunday and weekly chapel worship services, counseling, workshops
and conventions, group studies, and community outreaches. The
University Chapel is an ultra modern architectural masterpiece,
situated in the heart of the university campus. It has a seating
capacity of 4,500
