THE SPIRITUAL PROGRAMS

To achieve the above-mentioned tasks we engage in the following programs & Activities.

(a) PROGRAMS

• Mid-Week Chapel Service
The Mid-week Chapel program is to prepare both the staff and students spiritually for the week. The Tuesday Chapel service at 8:00am is for staff and students in the College of Science and Technology CST, while Wednesday Chapel service at 8:00am is for the staff and students of the College of Business and Social Sciences.
• Sunday Morning Worship
There are two main services for all the students. Students attend one of these services on Hall basis. Five Halls attend the first service (7:00 – 9:00am) while the remaining five Halls attend the second service (9:30 – 11:30am). Attendance is mandatory.
• Variety Night
This is the time students express their personal endowments in terms of inspired dramas, poems, song ministrations, entertainment, talk-shows, motivation and spiritually uplifting programs. This is a bi-weekly Sunday Evening Program. The time is 8:00pm.
• Cell Fellowship Program
This fellowship holds in every Floor of the Halls of residence on Thursday by 6:00pm.
• Believers Foundation Classes
This is a follow-up program for the new converts. It holds every Saturday morning.
• Week of Spiritual Emphasis
This is a 3-day spiritual program of Word teachings/ ministrations and impartation.
• Career/Spiritual Development Program.
We also organize special career/spiritual development program where we invite special guest speakers from outside the university community to talk to the students on a particular subject of interest.
• Counseling
We offer counseling services for both staff and students.

• Welfare Services
We give welfare to indigent students to help them cope with the rigor of academic stress.
